For the second consecutive year, the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra will be presenting an Independence Day celebration concert featuring Lane Alexander and BAM! Celebrate our country’s birthday and musical heritage in a program featuring selections by American composers as well as three Europeans — Dvorák, Johann Strauss, Jr. and Tchaikovsky — whose visits left indelible marks on their music.
